Why Sandakphu & Phalut?
At 3,636 meters (11,930 ft), Sandakphu is the highest point in West Bengal and a dream destination for trekkers. Often referred to as the “Paradise of Trekkers,” it offers a rare panoramic view of four of the five highest peaks in the world—Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, and Lhotse—all in a stunning arc of snow-covered majesty.
Just a day’s trek away, Phalut (3,600 m) shares the same elevation and grandeur. Located at the tri-junction of West Bengal, Sikkim, and Nepal, this second-highest peak in the state is a gateway to some of the most incredible Himalayan vistas.

The Journey: Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: NJP/Siliguri to Tumling via Manebhanjyang
● Our driver will receive you at the Station and help you settle in. Buckle up to view the beauty of Mother Nature.
● Njp to Manebhanjyang Manebhanjyang to Tumling
● Our driver will brief you and we will start with on of most beautiful treks. After reaching a certain height mountains like Everest | Kanchenjunga are visible.
● After a walk of around 5 to 6 hours, you will reach the base camp for Sandakphu.
Day 2: Tumling to Kalapokhri
● After a fantastic view and a delicious breakfast, we head to Kalapokhri, A legendary stories await you, only if you indulge with the locals. A small lake adds to the magnificent beauty.
● 5 to 6 hours walk
Day 3: Kalapokhri to Sandakphu
● The day you have been waiting for, after savouring tasty breakfast, the guide will lead you to Sandakphu.
● Make sure to rest well because the view next day will blow you mind.
● Walk of 5 to 6 hours
Day 4: Sandakphu to Phalut
● After a great view, we pack our bags and head to Phalut. There is an expression, “ It feels like if you could throw a stone hard enough, the stone might reach the Mountain.”
● Walk of 6 to 7 hours
Day 5: Phalut to Gorkh/ Ramam
● Get up early, freshen up and get ready to view magnificence. Thank the God for bestowing a great view such as that and get ready to visit a small village with river.
● Walk of 5 to 6 hours
Day 6: Gorkhey/Ramam to Srikhola & Departure
●Bid adieu to the hills. The guide will drop you off at SRIKHOLA where a driver will be waiting for your arrival. He will drop you to Siliguri/ NJP/ AIRPORT.
